III. Research Interests
Research activities mainly focus on advanced energy storage materials and energy storage system design, performance regulation of thermal energy storage materials, and the construction of thermophysical property databases for energy storage materials.
Long-term efforts have been devoted to research on energy storage materials and energy storage technologies. Multiple projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) have been led or participated in, including one NSFC Young Scientists Fund project, one NSFC Key Project, one NSFC International Cooperation Project, and one Guangdong Provincial Key R&D Program.
Within these projects, theoretical calculation challenges related to the microstructure and thermophysical properties of oxygen-containing salts and halide molten salts have been addressed. The resulting research outcomes have been published in more than ten papers in internationally renowned journals such as International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, Nano Energy, Applied Energy, and Solar Energy Materials and Solar Cells, and have been recognized and cited by leading scholars, including Academician Yaling He and Professor Yulong Ding.
